Yoshi (www.startyoshi.com) delivers gas, oil changes, car washes, and to cars wherever they are parked. We’re attacking one of the largest markets in the world which hasn’t changed since the days of Henry Ford and the Model T. We started in 2015, have offices in San Francisco and Nashville, and currently offer our service in 13 cities across 11 states (and counting). We plan to operate in 25 cities by year end. Our investors include General Motors, ExxonMobil, and sports stars Joe Montana and Kevin Durant (among others).

Overview of the Role

You’ll be an integral part of the team, managing recruiting activities and building candidate relationships from beginning to end. Looking for a professional recruiter who enjoys talking to people and being a part of a growing team. 

You will work out of the Nashville office and will be in charge of hiring Field Techs (drivers), Mechanics, and other service providers in all markets across the country. We are also looking for someone who can build out processes and SOPs for hiring as the company scales.

Will have ability to work directly with founders as they look to transfer some of the learnings gained over the past three years to this department.

Responsiblities

  • Coordinate full-cycle recruiting events: scheduling phone and in-person interviews
  • Support the full cycle candidate experience from application to offer
  • Manage high-volume scheduling, showing a responsiveness to all candidate inquiries
  • Maintain accurate entry and integrity of data 
  • Communicate professionally and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times with candidates and internal stakeholders
  • Take pride and ownership in the overall candidate experience. These people are the face of Yoshi!

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years experience in recruiting coordination and/or similar responsibilities in an HR or administrative role at a fast-paced company
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interface with all levels of the organization and external candidates
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment -- you enjoy taking on challenges to make the business successful
  • Startup experience is a plus!
